The recruitment of Turkish Cypriot workers in the free areas continues - The labor sectors

The Turkish Cypriot Federation of Trade Unions (Türk-Sen) announced that the employment of Turkish Cypriots in the free areas of the Republic of Cyprus continues and new areas have been added for which they can apply.

The President of Türk-Sen, Arslan Bıçaklı, stated: "Of the Turkish Cypriots (130 people in two groups in total) who wanted to work in the 'South', especially in the tourism sector, applied to Türk-Sen in December people started working, and another 60 people were added. "We have been informed that they will start their work in the coming days."

In his written statement, Bıçaklı stated that in January, the third group, 70 people, and in February, 150 and 30 people, the fourth and fifth groups, were called for an interview and that the successful candidates would start work.

Apart from the tourism, restaurants and construction sectors for which applications have been submitted so far, Bıçaklı noted that citizens under the age of 50 who have a Republic of Cyprus identity and want to work as dry cleaners, tailors or drivers can apply. in Türk-Sen.
