British authorities have arrested two minors in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Stelios Averkios, who was fatally stabbed in a park in Tottenham, Britain.
According to Sigmalive, citing British media, these are a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, who were accused of killing the 16-year-old Cypriot.
Both minors appeared in court on Thursday (2/9).
It is recalled that the unfortunate teenager was found injured in Lordship Recreation Ground Park on August 1 and was hospitalized in critical condition. According to Parikiaki, the 16-year-old Cypriot lost the battle for his life ten days after his injury.
Police on August 15 went to the park in an attempt to gather information about the case.
In an attempt to locate the two minors, they called anyone who knew anything about the case to contact the Police. "A family was left devastated by this incident and we want to ensure that those responsible are arrested and brought to justice. "If you can help, please get in touch with us," said the head of investigations.
According to Vassos Christoforou, a former journalist from Parikiaki, Stelios's mother, Maria, lived in North London. Overwhelmed, she declared that "her son was a sweet, handsome and quiet boy."
His godmother Maria Stanford undertook to raise money for the funeral through a website and the των 5000 target was exceeded.
