The Police proceeded on Wednesday night to arrest a 27-year-old person for an investigated case of theft from a company in Paphos.
According to the press representative of the Paphos Police, Michalis Nikolaou, last night, a 35-year-old co-owner of a company that deals with mechanical installations based in Paphos, reported to the Police that an employee of his company allegedly stole two copper pipes, worth €300. to sell them as scrap metal.
The complainant, said Mr. Nikolaou, by monitoring the GPS system installed in his company car, found that a 27-year-old employee went during non-working hours to a place where old and used metals are bought and sold, in the Anatolikou area in Paphos.
According to the complaint, the vehicle left at 18:05 from the company's warehouse and went to the point of sale of the copper pipes, as indicated by the installed GPS system.
