Arrested wanted for house arson

In reference to a Police Notice dated October 05, 2022 regarding a wanted person aged 46, for arson and threatening, he was arrested and taken into custody on 13/10/2022.

According to the data under investigation, around 1.15 am on Tuesday, October 04, 2022, a fire broke out in a residence in the area of ​​Limassol.

The fire, which caused extensive damage to the interior of the residence, was extinguished by members of the Fire Service, while during the investigation of the case, suspicions arose against the 46-year-old and a judicial arrest warrant was issued against him.

The suspect was arrested yesterday and brought before the Limassol District Court, where an eight-day detention order was issued against him.
