As part of the investigation of the above crimes, the Police proceeded yesterday to arrest a young man aged 30 years.
The arrest of the 30-year-old was preceded on 8/12/2021, a complaint to the Police by a bus driver in Limassol, that in the afternoon of the same day during his route, he stopped at a stop to board passengers.
According to the complaint, the 30-year-old boarded the bus without wearing a protective mask and the bus driver made recommendations for him to do so, with the result that the 30-year-old attacked him and hit him in the face with his fist.
The detainee then, after getting off the bus, threw stones at him, as a result of which he broke the windshield, causing damage amounting to 2.600 euros.
A court warrant was issued against the 30-year-old and he was arrested yesterday to facilitate the investigations. The Limassol TAE continues the examinations.
