On Thursday, the burning issue of asphalt will be discussed in two meetings at the Presidential Palace.
A written statement by the Director of the President's Press Office, Andreas Iosif, states that next week President Anastasiades will have meetings, a session of the Council of Ministers and other meetings. "The agenda of President Anastasiades includes open issues for which the Government is determined to provide solutions, serving the public interest in the best way", it states.
Specifically, on Monday, August 22, at 10 am, a meeting of the Council of Ministers will be held at the country presidential residence in Troodos. The session of the Council of Ministers will be followed by a meal presented by the presidential couple to the members of the Government.
On Thursday, August 25, at 9.30 and 11 am, two meetings are scheduled to discuss the issue of asphalt plants. The Community Coordination Committee of the Vassilikos area was invited to the first meeting. The communities of the Mitserou region will take part in the second meeting. The relevant Ministers as well as officials will participate in the meetings.
On Friday, August 26, at 8 pm, President Anastasiades will attend a dinner of the Reserve Officers Association of Limassol.
On Sunday, August 28, the President will attend and speak at the national memorial service of the hero - EOKA department head Michalakis Paridis, in Anafotia.
