It is clarified that the administration of the third dose will be done only with mRNA vaccines, ie of Pfizer / BioNTech and Moderna, while it is noted that the administration of the third dose does not concern the general population, but the specific categories that have been mentioned above.

First the nursing homes

The same information states that in case the green light is given by the AEO, the Medical Services of the Ministry of Health are ready to start the vaccinations from the nursing homes.

Vaccination with the third dose in nursing homes or other institutions for the elderly will be done, as last January, with mobile units, staffed by trained and experienced health professionals.
