The Police arrested a 38-year-old man in the early hours of the morning, to facilitate investigations regarding an investigated case of car theft and illegal possession of property.
Specifically, a few minutes after midnight, members of the Larnaca Police Department, who were on motorized patrol, spotted a saloon car with fake registration numbers in a hotel parking lot in Larnaca. In close proximity to the said vehicle, a semi-truck was found parked, which had been reported to the Police as stolen on January 9, 2024.

The 38-year-old did not give satisfactory explanations as to how the objects in question were found in his possession, as a result of which he was arrested for the spontaneous offense of illegal possession of property.
