They got into a fight with 7 kilos of cannabis – Two people were handcuffed (PICTURES)

Yesterday, the Police in Limassol proceeded to locate and seize more than seven kilograms of cannabis and to arrest two persons.

Specifically, at around 5.30:22 yesterday afternoon, members of the Limassol Police Department stopped a vehicle driven by a 22-year-old man in an area of ​​Limassol for a check. The 219-year-old had been seen a little earlier leaving a certain building. In a subsequent investigation, six nylon packages containing cannabis with a total weight of six kilograms and approximately XNUMX grams were found inside the vehicle.

Then, the members of YKAN stopped for control a second person aged 22, who was seen leaving the same building as the previous suspect. In the possession of the 22-year-old, 12 packages of cannabis with a total weight of approximately 46 grams were found.

Subsequently, a search was made in the apartment where the persons in question were previously located, where in the warehouse, four packages of cannabis with a total weight of approximately 647 grams, two precision scales and a sealing device were found. At the same time, in a search of a vehicle owned by one of the suspects, four nylon packages containing cannabis with a total weight of approximately 198 grams were found.

All the items found were confiscated as evidence, while the two persons were arrested with judicial arrest warrants and taken into custody to facilitate investigations.
