In the arrest of two persons, suspects in relation to an investigated case of drug trafficking, the Police, specifically the Anti-Narcotics Service - YKAN, proceeded yesterday in the province of Limassol. The two suspects, aged 48 and 30, were arrested for spontaneous offenses after the discovery of a quantity of cannabis, weighing five (5) kilograms and approximately 300 grams, in the car they were driving in the Limassol area.
In particular, shortly before 4.00:30 pm on Thursday, the members of YKAN stopped the car in which the two suspects, driven by a 300-year-old man, were driving for a check. A search of the vehicle followed, where they found on the seat behind the driver's seat, inside a cardboard box, six nylon packages containing a quantity of cannabis, with a total gross weight of approximately five kilograms and XNUMX grams.
The 48-year-old and 30-year-old were arrested for the offenses themselves, as well as on the basis of subsequent arrest warrants. The two were taken into custody, for the purposes of investigating the drug trafficking case.
