According to the Fire Service, at 3:55 in the morning, EMAK was called to intervene in a fire that occurred in a vehicle that was parked on a road in front of the house of its owner in Alethriko.
At 4:25 EMAK members put out the fire.
The vehicle suffered extensive damage from the fire, while damage was also caused to the wooden pergola on the terrace of the house.
The scene was cordoned off and guarded overnight by police.
Police, Fire and Electromechanical Service are conducting investigations to find out the exact causes of the fire.
