Parliament: Approved the budget of the T / C Property Management Fund

With 26 votes in favor and 12 abstentions from AKEL and the Movement of Ecologists - Citizens' Cooperation, the Plenary Session of the Parliament voted in favor of the budget of the T / C Property Management Fund.

The budget is not balanced and has a deficit of € 485.050, which is expected to be covered by the accumulated reserve of the T / C Property Management Fund, which until December 31, 2020 amounted to € 2.910.570.

This budget provides for expenses amounting to € 16.725.133 and revenues amounting to € 16.240.083, which come from a state sponsorship to the T / C Property Guardian (€ 7.500.000), from T / C Property rental rents (€ 4.840.040). 3.837.333) and from the execution of various projects, by the hourly paid staff of the technical crews, for a corresponding and equivalent expense in the budget of expenses, which is made for accounting purposes (€ XNUMX).

Ο Chairman of the Refugee Committee, AKEL MP Nikos Kettiros said they often hear about opacity, mismanagement, scandals, looting around this Fund, while they hear a lot of "wills" from the state on the issue when in fact nothing is done to change the management of T / C assets and they have been waiting for some years for the strategic plan regarding the criteria to be presented to them.
