Rains and storms today in Cyprus - Which areas are affected

Tonight, locally increased clouds are expected to initially give local and later isolated rain or storm, mainly in the west and north, while snow will fall in the higher mountains.

The weather will soon become partly cloudy and partly cloudy, and local showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected. In the higher mountains, snow or sleet will fall. Winds will be mainly southwest to northwest, initially light 3 Beaufort, gradually light to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort and locally, on the south and west coasts in the afternoon, to strong 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough to become rough in the afternoon. The temperature will rise to around 17 degrees in the interior, on the western and northern coasts, around 19 on the rest of the coasts and around 9 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Tuesday, isolated rains are expected mainly in the mountains and north. Local rain, isolated storms and snow in the higher mountains are expected on Wednesday. On Thursday the weather will be mostly sunny.

The temperature will gradually drop slightly until Wednesday, to be close to the average climatic values, while a slight rise is expected on Thursday.
