Rains and storms on the weather menu

Weak low blood pressure affects the area.

Today, locally increased clouds will be observed from time to time, initially likely to give isolated rain in the west, while later isolated rains or even storms are expected in northeastern areas. Winds will be mainly south-west to north-west, light to moderate and progressively moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and transient on the south and east coasts up to strong, 5 Beaufort. The temperature will drop to around 8 degrees inland, around 9 on the south and east coasts, around 10 on the west coast, around 12 on the northern coast and around 2 degrees in the higher mountains, where frost is expected to form locally.

On Friday, the weather will be mostly sunny with locally increased clouds. On Saturday and Sunday the weather will be mostly clear with temporarily increased high clouds, however locally increased clouds in the mountains may give isolated rain, while on Saturday light snowfall on the highest peaks of Troodos is also possible.

The temperature until Saturday will gradually drop slightly, to fluctuate slightly below the average climatic values, while on Sunday it will slightly rise.
