A representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters stated to KYPE that from 6.00 on Thursday morning until 6.00 this morning, a total of 11.004 checks were carried out.
In the last 24 hours, 3.067 checks were carried out in Nicosia and 17 people were reported.
In Limassol, the police carried out 2.476 checks and reported 85 people and the owner of a property.
In Larnaca, 1.343 inspections were carried out and 18 people were reported.
In Paphos, 1.404 inspections were carried out and 27 people and two property owners were reported.
In Famagusta, 1.213 inspections were carried out and 24 people were reported. In Morfou, the Police carried out 819 checks and reported 3 people and a property owner.
The Traffic Police made 612 checks and reported 17 citizens. The Port and Maritime Police carried out 70 checks without any complaint.
