In view of the return and attendance with physical presence of students in schools, on May 10, 2021, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth reminds and invites the parents / guardians of students Gymnasiums, Lyceums and Technical Schools to ensure that children undergo a rapid antigen test in order to present themselves at school with a negative result. They can be tested, which is stated to be done by taking a nasal swab, either free of charge at sampling points operating in all provinces or at an approved private clinical laboratory, at their own expense.
Additionally, parents / guardians of children are encouraged Primary Education of grades D 'to S' such as performing a rapid antigen detection test (nasal sampling) on their children before the schools reopen.
It is reminded that all teachers as well as other staff schools must undergo a weekly rapid antigen test. It is clarified that upon their return to schools they must present a certificate of negative result.
Finally, it is noted that the control program with mobile sampling units will continue in Gymnasiums, Lyceums and Technical Schools for the examination of students / staff and staff, on a weekly basis. With the reopening of the schools, after the Easter holidays, tests will also be performed with a rapid antigen detection test (nasal sampling) on children attending primary school classes based on a program, which will be notified in time to schools. The test will not be mandatory, but parents / guardians are encouraged to give their consent.
