Heads of premises worked without a mask - Fines to citizens for the measures

In the last twenty-four hours, the Police proceeded with complaints from 6 citizens and 4 premises, after 2.581 inspections carried out throughout Cyprus, in order to verify the observance and implementation of the decrees of the Infection Law.

As a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters stated in KYPE, in Nicosia 1.172 inspections were carried out, from which no complaints emerged, in Limassol 210 inspections were carried out, which resulted in 1 complaint of a citizen and 2 persons in charge of premises.

At Larnaca 433 inspections were carried out with 2 complaints from citizens and a person in charge of the property, in Paphos 130 inspections were carried out, from which a complaint of a property emerged, in Paphos 102 inspections were carried out with 1 complaint of a citizen and a property, in Famagusta 416 inspections were carried out and there were 2 complaints from citizens in the area Morphou 149 inspections were carried out without complaints.

Regarding the complaints in real estate, they concern a supermarket in Limassol where it did not happen SafePass control and the person in charge received a fine 1500 euro . also head of a fast food restaurant in Limassol did not proceed to SafePass control resulting in a fine 750 euro.In Larnaca after checking in hair salon A manager worked without a mask, as well as a barber in Paphos. Both were fined 500 euro.
