Thanasi case: The mother breaks out 2 years after the exhumation - "I call for peaceful support"

Two years will be completed next Saturday, from the day the remains of the deceased national guard Thanasis Nikolaou were exhumed.

His mother, Andriana, spoke to Protoselidos on the occasion of the peaceful protest that will take place next Saturday outside the Legal Service.

The event will take place next Saturday, the day that marks 2 years since the exhumation of his remains.

"His killers are walking free, they continue to violate his rights, the State has been fighting us for so many years instead of supporting us to cover up the criminals.

The exhumation of my child proved what I have been shouting for so many years, now 2 years have passed, his holy remains are outside his grave without justification..," said Ms. Nikolaou.

"The protest will take place at 14.30 on Saturday outside the Legal Service. We are yet to see any movement towards the culprits."

"With pain in my soul, I call on the whole world to support this soul-destroying struggle that concerns us all," said Ms. Andriana.
