Two people were arrested yesterday at Tsirio Stadium, to facilitate investigations into investigated offenses in violation of the Law on Violence at Sports Venues.
Specifically, around 6.30 pm, before the start of the football match between the teams of Aris and APOEL, members of the Police arrested a 37-year-old and a 36-year-old for spontaneous offenses. According to the examined data, when they entered the stands of the stadium, the two allegedly caused concern, refusing to obey the instructions of the stadium supervisors.
The 37-year-old and the 36-year-old were taken to a Police Station where they were charged in writing with the offenses of drunkenness, inciting anxiety and insult. They were then released to stand trial.
