The Fire Service was alerted after a fire broke out in a 47-year-old woman's vehicle in Limassol district.
According to the Police, around 23:30 information was received about a fire in a vehicle, which was parked outside a house in Souni Zanatsias.
Members of the Fire Service rushed to the scene, where they brought the fire under control. As a result of the fire, the 47-year-old's vehicle suffered extensive damage, while the tests revealed that it was a malicious act.
Information from 24news states that the 47-year-old woman, who is separated from her husband, suspects that he is behind the criminal act since there are frictions between them.
However, the 47-year-old's suspicions will be investigated by the investigators of the police force, who are looking into the case.
