ETAP: Promotes experiences in the Old Town of Paphos

The Paphos Region Tourism Development and Promotion Company promotes Paphos Old Town (Old Town Pafos) as a unique choice area that comes to enrich the visitor experience.

Despite the fact that in the area there is a need for other interventions of tidiness, enrichment of uses, shading, etc. the area today has changed and is a point of reference and an excellent choice for the visitor.

The area today gathers a wide range of experiences, buildings of exceptional architecture, places of cultural and religious interest, tourist accommodation, retail stores, clothing, footwear, traditional products, handicrafts, etc., exhibition / cultural spaces, cultural and artistic events, , one of the best sunsets in the province, bars, restaurants, cafes, as well as satisfactory access allowing locals and foreigners to visit the area all year round, throughout the day or night.                   

Given the above, as a tourism operator we have planned a series of actions to highlight the area, infrastructure and experiences offered. 
We have already included the area in the tourist maps, recommending the Old Town-Old Town Pafos as a unique experience. In the renewed promotional printed material as well as in the new 3-minute film, a relevant reference is made. 
In the various introductory trips of the destination we have guided partners, journalists and travel agents in order to promote the area. This will continue in the coming months and in the future aiming at the establishment of the Old Town.    
 
We are in the process of creating printed mass distribution material for the experiences offered by the Old Town (Old Town) which will be distributed to hotels and elsewhere. In addition, before the new summer season 2018 in collaboration with PASYXE Paphos we will organize visits of members of the hotel staff in the area to get to know the area personally, the projects and experiences offered so that they become ambassadors of the Old Town.    

Paphos Old Town Pafos is now a remarkable choice for domestic and inbound tourism and we hope that in the coming years we will be able to reposition it in the preferences of visitors.
