Spaghetti with minced meat

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 500 gr. spaghetti
  • 500 gr. ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped carrot
  • . Cup olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 sprigs of celery
  • 600 gr. concentrated tomato juice
  • salt
  • pepper
  • grated kefalograviera

Implementation

  1. Finely chop the celery, boil it in boiling water for 2 minutes and let it drain.
  2. Fry the minced meat in olive oil in a saucepan.
  3. Once it gets colored, add the onion, carrot and celery and let them deep fry.
  4. Add the tomato, the bay leaf, the whole garlic clove and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Boil the sauce on low heat for about 30 minutes, until it sets and at the end remove the garlic and bay leaf.
  6. At the same time, boil the pasta and drain it.
  7. Mix the pasta with the sauce and the kefalograviera and serve hot.
