According to the Fire Department, the call for fire was received at 19.34 and the Famagusta Fire Station responded with 4 fire trucks, putting it under control at 20.27.

The apartment was extensively damaged by the fire. The fire spread and caused damage to the stairwell. The brewery on the ground floor below the apartment was slightly damaged.
It is also reported that the three foreigners of Asian origin were absent at the time of the start of the fire. Residents of other apartments were evacuated as a precaution without endangering anyone. The causes of the fire will be investigated today in cooperation with the Police and the Electromechanical Service.
In the early hours of the morning at 01.36 a call was received for a fire in a vehicle parked in an open space outside the apartment complex where its owner resides, in the village of Emba in Paphos.
The Paphos Fire Station responded with 2 fire trucks and the fire was brought under control at 01.55. The vehicle was severely damaged. The causes of the fire will be investigated today in cooperation with the Police
