Five 18-year-old tourists were arrested yesterday in Ayia Napa for burglary and theft.
According to the Police, three tourists who were staying in a hotel complex in Ayia Napa complained that strangers entered their room and stole various personal items and money.
Specifically, according to the complaint, the amount of 200 euros and clothing and footwear worth 300 euros were stolen from the first complainant, 200 euros worth of clothing and footwear were stolen from the second and the amount of 60 euros was stolen from the third complainant, clothing worth 30 euros and a mobile phone worth 210 euros.
The five people, aged 18, were arrested yesterday at noon and were taken into custody, while later today they are expected to be brought before the Famagusta District Court for a detention order.
