Then, when he returned from Greece, he realized his dream, which was to buy the land and the courage to create the first hotel unit in an area where there was no other development, except for the settlement of Ayia Napa, which was quite far away. near the current center of the tourist resort.

In 1976, Nissi Beach was operational and was the first hotel operating in the country after the dark days of the Turkish invasion and bombing but also the illegal occupation of the famous hotel units of Varos and the loss of 80% of its hotel units. country. In fact, until 1975, the bungalows of the hotel housed refugees.

It is pointed out that Kikis Konstantinou was President of the Pancyprian PASYXE for consecutive years during the 1980s, taking the initiative of the radical renovation of the current offices as well as President of Anorthosis Famagusta for 13 consecutive years, leading the team to European championships. but also in the construction of the temporary headquarters of the team, the stadium "Antonis Papadopoulos".

Kikis Konstantinou was honored in 2019, as an Honorary Citizen of Ayia Napa due to his great cultural work, as in collaboration with the former Mayor and current Minister of Transport Giannis Karousos, he contributed to the creation of the International Sculpture Park and the international symposia and Park Park , in the approval of the implementation of the grand project for the largest outdoor amphitheater of the island as well as in the creation of other parks in Ayia Napa which are implemented with the current mayor, Christos Zannetos and the general contribution of the Cultural Officer of the Municipality, Maria Tofini.
