The "Cypriot Hospitality" Agency, which was officially presented on Friday in Ayia Napa, aims to promote the hospitality sector and to reward its people.
With the focus on the professionals in the field of hospitality, the non-governmental body for research, reward and promotion of the best practices used in our country was established under the name "Cypriot Hospitality".
At a meeting held at the Ayia Napa Sea Museum, the organization was officially presented to the people of the tourism industry.
Gianna Orfanidou, Secretary of the Agency stated that "Cypriot Hospitality expects awards, studies, publications which will focus on the human factor in the hotel industry"
In turn, President Polys Kallis stated that "I am particularly pleased that today we have made the official announcement of our organization which aims at a single goal, to highlight the well-being of the tourism industry."
The Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education and Member of Parliament for DISY Famagusta, Kyriakos Hatzigiannis stressed that "It is time, the conditions have matured, for the model of Cypriot hospitality to be defined as the most national strategy for tourism."
The Agency will, inter alia, reward the actions or actions of the people in the hospitality sector through the establishment of
awards for outstanding service, professional culture and social contribution.
