Kleanthis Koutsoftas officially submitted his candidacy for the upcoming parliamentary elections.

The written statement of the Candidate with DISY in Famagusta, Kleanthi Koutsofta:

"I submitted my candidacy for the upcoming parliamentary elections today.

It is a great honor for me to have my candidacy supported by Maria Kalimera (Record Guinness holder), who through her actions and achievements has sent and continues to send resounding messages of life. It is an equal honor for me to have my candidacy supported by the international footballer Kwnstantinos Laifis, who makes us proud of his performances abroad.

My candidacy was signed by Christos Papamichael and Ttomis Flourentzou. Papamichael Christos, is a research associate at the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, Municipal Councilor of Germasogeia, former Vice President and General Secretary of NEDISY, a refugee from Milia, Famagusta. Tomis Flourentzou is the CEO of a group of companies, a member of the school board, a Municipal Councilor of Paralimni and was the vice president of FPK Protoporia Ioannina.

With full awareness of my action and with a vision, to bring together a new understanding of political philosophy and mentality, with dynamism and diligence, I can strengthen this effort by entering Parliament, always with my eyes fixed on Famagusta.

A city, which was a trademark of a Province with rich history and natural beauty that, in addition to being a center of education, culture, socio-economic development and progress, was also a place of religious contemplation as the Peninsula of the Saints.

Its inhabitants, eagerly awaiting the return of its inhabitants, turned into the unquenchable flame of faith and the symbol of hope, expectation and perseverance to continue the struggle until justification and final return to our ancestral homes.

A Province, which is the commercial, tourist lung of our homeland, but, above all, our province is a center of cultural uplift and cultivation, but also economic and social development.
