Ways of further development and inclusion of the Liopetri River in the tourist map of the country were discussed in a meeting between the Deputy Minister of Tourism and the President and the members of the Community Council of Liopetri.
The President and the members of the Liopetri Community Council discussed the opportunities presented for the tourist development of Liopetri with the grandiose project of the renovation of the fishing shelter in Potamos, which has already been announced by the Government, in a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Tourism last Saturday.

The announcement of the bids for the formation of the fishing shelter on the Liopetri River was announced last May by the Minister of Agriculture, while the Community Council is already studying ways for the project to be a pole of attraction for locals and foreign visitors.
The cost of the project will amount to 8,5 million euros and will include, among others, 35 platforms for professional fishermen and 100 for amateurs or visitors, a cafe-restaurant, training center and carnagio.
