The Tri-Member Council publishes the names of officials and politically exposed persons.
As stated in the announcement, the names of those who have not complied with the law for submitting their statements are posted on their website.
It is noted that the Council in its recent session proceeded with the implementation of what is provided by the legislation for the persons who have not complied.
The names of the officials are posted as a punitive measure on the website of the Tripartite Council.
Also, faced with the provisions of the existing legislation, those who fail to submit asset declarations for themselves as well as for their spouses and minor children. Specifically, they will be fined 5 euros and additionally fined up to 100 euros for each day of continued non-compliance.
Those who refuse to pay the fine will be referred to the Court with the amount being considered a civil debt owed to the Republic.
