Humanitarian aid to the Diocese of Kastoria from the Diocese of Constantia - Famagusta

His Holiness was accompanied by the Protosyggelos of the Holy Archdiocese of Cyprus, Archimandrite Ieronymos and the Elder Heraclides Xiouros, responsible for the collection of food on behalf of the Diocese of Constantia.

In this way, the Holy Metropolis of Constantia - Famagusta demonstrates once again the relationship of solidarity between the two Churches, as well as the power of love and support for our tested brothers, especially in these days when the Holy and Great Fortieth begins.

His Eminence the Metropolitan of Kastoria Mr. Seraphim expressed his gratitude and warm thanks both to the Most Venerable Metropolitan of Constantia - Famagusta Mr. Vassilios, and to the faithful of the Metropolitan Region for their generosity.

After the unloading of the food, the Most Venerable Metropolitan of Constantia - Famagusta and his entourage visited the Diocese of Kastoria where the two Hierarchs had a private meeting. Afterwards, the Metropolitan of Kastoria offered a meal to the Metropolitan of Constantia and his entourage, in the presence of the Mayor of Kastoria and other factors of the Diocese.

At the end of the bank, the Metropolitan of Kastoria offered to the Metropolitan of Constantia as a token of gratitude a Hierarchical Epigonate.

Afterwards, the Metropolitan of Constantia visited the City Hall of Kastoria, where he had a complimentary meeting with the Mayor of Kastoria. The Mayor of Kastoria thanked the Metropolitan of Constantia for the great help he sent for the needs of the meals of the Diocese of Kastoria and wished soon the liberation of the Occupied Metropolitan Region of the Diocese of Constantia, as well as the whole of Cyprus.
