A 6-year-old boy from Arizona, USA, received many warm wishes and special invitations, when a sad photo from his birthday went viral on the Internet.

Teddy invited 32 of his classmates to a pizzeria to celebrate his birthday on Sunday, but no one showed up. Sil Macini's mother sent a heartbreaking photo to local television network ABC 15, showing Teddy sitting alone at a table full of pizzas and soft drinks.

Machini said 32 invitations had been sent to Teddy's classmates from kindergarten and their parents to celebrate together at the pizzeria and that she had even spoken to some parents the day before they said they would go. However, no one showed up.

The viral photo caused a wave of warm wishes for the boy's birthday on social media. Many rushed to express their support, such as Jackie Ward, a Facebook user, who wrote "Happy Birthday Teddy!
