These are the measures announced to combat hooliganism

Measures to combat hooliganism were announced by the Minister of Justice, Anna Prokopiou-Koukkidis.

The measures decided upon:

Formation of a permanent anti-harassment team with the exclusive task of policing matches

Installation of cameras in all stadiums

Surveillance of organized groups during their movements by the Police

Intensification of physical checks by the Police

Amending legislation on breathalyzer and drug tests

Amendment of Legislation for the involvement of the Police in the control of the application of the fan card

The amendment of the Legislation will be considered so that the recommendation of the Police to the Federation becomes mandatory.

Amendment of legislation to increase the penalty of banning entry to stadiums for ten years
