The Vaccination Portal opened today for all ages and will remain open until all available appointments, which will be available for vaccination, at Vaccination Centers operating throughout Cyprus.
As the Press Officer of the Ministry of Health, Margarita Kyriakou, stated in KYPE, the Gate was opened today for all people aged 18 and over, noting that it will remain open until the appointments are exhausted.
He explained that the intention of the Ministry of Health is to add appointments at regular intervals, with the available vaccines, that will be received.
The Ministry of Health urges all citizens to contribute to the huge project that is underway, to vaccinate as much of the population as possible, thus shielding the entire society.
He reiterates that excessive complacency is currently our biggest enemy in the ongoing battle against the virus and could bring about an epidemiological picture and a delay in a safe return to normalcy.
In the meantime, in Cyprus until June 12, 59,3% of the population that can be vaccinated, received the first dose. Also, 1% have completed their vaccination regimen either after receiving the Johnson & Johnson monosodium vaccine or by receiving both doses of AstraZeneca, Moderna and Pfizer / BioNTech vaccines.
