The new traffic cameras are in but not recording – The points that were installed

It is a mystery when the new traffic cameras, which were installed in various parts of Cyprus, will be put into operation.

According to the Minister of Transport, Yiannis Karousos, citizens will be informed when the traffic cameras start working. It is currently being installed and tested to make sure everything is running smoothly.

Mr. Karousos also expressed the opinion that even the mobile cameras should be announced not the points, but at least the highways and road networks on which we place them so that drivers know it to be more careful, because the purpose is to you know there is speed monitoring and surveillance and be careful.
