Illegal immigrant handcuffed – He was driving drunk

A twenty-seven-year-old man, who apparently resided illegally on the territory of the Republic, was spotted by the Police driving at excessive speed and with an alcohol level of 43 mg on a Paphos road.

According to the Press Spokesperson of ADE Paphos and Head of TAE Paphos Michalis Nikolaou on Sunday at 18:55, a 27-year-old man was spotted driving without a driver's license, without insurance while allegedly driving at 73 per hour instead of 50 kilometers which is the permitted limit in the due area.

According to a control that was carried out, it became clear that he was driving under the influence of alcohol with an indication of 43 mg instead of 22 mg, which is the permitted limit. He also allegedly resided illegally on the territory of the Republic.

He was arrested and taken into custody. The examinations are being continued by the Paphos Police.
