Nutritional advice for women from the Association of Dietitians and Nutritionists

Nutritional advice to women, in order to help them continue the multifaceted work they do, is given by the Association of Dietitians and Nutritionists of Cyprus, which believes that the pandemic did not discriminate and was particularly difficult for women around the world.

In a statement on the occasion of International Women's Day, SYDiKy states that maintaining a normal body weight is an important part in preventing various pathological health conditions, such as breast cancer, heart problems, myocardial infarction, diabetes 2 and osteoporosis, while on the contrary notes that increased or decreased body weight can contribute to the appearance or worsening of the condition.

He advises women to recognize the real feeling of hunger from emotional hunger, as the latter occurs in stressful situations, adding that to deal with the phenomenon it is useful to implement a diet plan, meal planning, physical activity and drinking plenty of fluids.
