Sponsorship for the purchase of laptops for students from the Ministry of Education - Who is affected?

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth (YPPAN), recognizing the necessity of introduction and use of New Information and Communication Technologies in Education and showing particular sensitivity in supporting the needy students / three, announces that a grant of € 400 is provided for the purchase of Computer (PC) to students who are studying: (a) in the B class of Public Gymnasiums and Private Secondary Schools (approved by the Ministry of Education), or (b) in the Preparatory class of the Evening Gymnasiums-Lyceums, given that The families of the pupils or the pupils themselves (in case they are adults) receive Public Aid in accordance with the Law on Public Aid and Services or the Minimum Guaranteed Income (EEG).

The Ministry of Education and Science remains committed to the main goal of upgrading the education system and providing quality education to young people. This goal is also one of the most basic and ongoing challenges that modern societies are called upon to meet and provide solutions, as our young people are called upon to prepare for a highly demanding and competitive work environment. In the context of this goal and the educational reform, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports takes various initiatives, submits suggestions and proposals and adopts new modernization measures, including the implementation of the computer grant program, as well as the use of computers as a tool learning and support of the teaching process.
