A 42-year-old man was detained as a suspect in two cases of burglary and theft.
According to a representative of the Paphos police department, the 42-year-old is allegedly involved in two cases of burglary and theft that were committed in the previous days in the province of Paphos and concern metal scaffolding and accessories as well as restaurant equipment.
Specifically, on January 6, 2022, it was reported that an unknown person extracted from the Craft of Agia Marinouda, from a fenced area of a contractor company and from its warehouse a number of metal scaffolding and accessories with a total value of 10.000 euros.
The second case concerns a restaurant in Chloraka from which the alleged suspect, according to the owner's complaint, allegedly seized equipment worth 12.850 euros.
Members of the Paphos Crime Investigation Department went to the scene immediately in both cases where they collected various items in order to locate the perpetrators.
Further examination revealed a testimony against the 42-year-old, who was arrested yesterday Monday and placed in custody.
The exams are continued by TAE Paphos.
