For the implementation of the electronic system for registering and managing court cases e-justice, a meeting was held on Wednesday at the Ministry of Justice and Public Order between the Minister of Justice and Public Order Stefi Drakos, the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy Kyriakos Kokkinos, the President of Pancypriot Bar Association Dr. Christos Clerides and all the co-competent services, in the context of actions to implement the judicial reform.
As stated in a statement, satisfaction for the significant progress in the implementation of e-justice within the timetables was expressed by the President of the Pancypriot Bar Association and the representatives of the Supreme Court.
It was noted that the goal set for the full implementation of the system on January 1, 2023 is achievable, since on September 12 we enter the last stage of the pilot test application during which the final checks and corrections will be carried out.
The Supreme Court has already set in motion the process of training Judicial Officers by trainers to use the system.
At the same time, in September, for complete familiarization with the final system, it was decided to train the trainers appointed by the Pancypriot Bar Association by province.
Finally, instructions were given for drawing up the final schedule of actions based on which the suggestions of the involved parties for further improvements to the system will be implemented.
As it is reported, "we are hopefully in the final stretch for electronic justice with the Minister of Justice and the Deputy Minister of Research sending encouraging messages for the implementation of the system within schedules".
