A total of 2,729 checks were carried out by the Police in the last 24 hours as part of the checks for measures against the coronavirus, during which 23 citizens and 9 people in charge of premises were reported.
The press office of the Police reported that in Nicosia were made 1,125 checks and reported 1 premises and 3 citizens, in Limassol 266 inspections resulted in complaints against 6 premises and 4 citizens and in Larnaca in 494 inspections 1 premises was reported.
At Famagusta the checks were 388 and 7 citizens were reported, in Paphos 135 were the checks and there was 1 complaint against a property and 6 citizens and in Morphou in 203 checks 3 citizens were reported.
The Traffic Police carried out 118 inspections without complaint.
At Nicosia the higher the fine 1,500 euro arose against a dining area because customers were dancing and there was overcrowding on the track. In Limassol most of the complaints concerned restaurants and Paphos 1 estate was reported because it did not make checks for safepass. In Larnaca, a bar was also reported for customer service.
