Handcuffs on 2 for impersonation- They indicated a safe pass that was not theirs

The two arrests were made in the context of the police checks on premises for compliance with the decrees of the Law on Infection.

In one case, members of the Police went to a property in the province of Nicosia last night and checked a minor, which indicated an electronic safe pass, which belonged to another person.

The minor was arrested for a self-inflicted crime and then released from custody, while he was summoned to report to the Police at a later stage.

In the second case, during a check made last night by members of the Police in a patrol of a property in the province of Limassol, the latter indicated a safe pass, which belonged to another person.

The person in question was arrested for a self-inflicted crime and then after being charged in writing, he was released, to be summoned later. He was also fined out of court in connection with the Law on Infection.
