The Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Giannis Karousos, had a meeting with members of the BMW Club Motorcycle Association today, Tuesday, in the context of a series of contacts he makes with organized groups to exchange suggestions and views on the issue of road safety.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Transport, during the meeting, road safety issues were discussed at length and ways were examined to further strengthen cooperation and promote joint initiatives aimed at upgrading infrastructure.
Given the number of road collisions with motorcyclists, the mutual goal is to promote remedial measures so that all road users can travel safely.
The Minister of Transport, Communications and Works also had the opportunity to be informed about the actions of the Association and conveyed the readiness of the Ministry of Transport to contribute, as far as possible, to their implementation and, consequently, to the achievement of the common goal.
