A person is wanted by the Paphos Police for an investigated case of illegal entry and causing malicious damage to the offices of the Social Welfare Services in Paphos yesterday Tuesday.
According to the press representative of ADE Paphos and head of TAE Paphos Michalis Nikolaou this is a 28-year-old permanent resident of Paphos against whom an arrest warrant was issued and he is wanted
Referring to the history of the case, Mr. Nikolaou told KYPE that he was reported to the Paphos Police on Tuesday morning by an employee of the Welfare Office that the main entrance of the Welfare Office building in Paphos was violated.
From the Police examinations it was established that "during the night, an unknown person breached the main entrance and entered the offices, causing damages of 1400 euros. At first glance it did not appear that anything was stolen," he added.
Mr. Nikolaou stated that the scene has been cordoned off and various items of evidence have been taken from it for scientific examination.
The tests to identify the perpetrator are continuing by the Paphos Police.
