Yellow warning for heavy rain and hail

The Department of Meteorology issued a yellow warning in which it speaks of intense weather phenomena with thunderstorms accompanied by hail with the intensity of rainfall locally exceeding 35 millimeters per hour.

In the afternoon, the weather will be mostly cloudy in several areas and local rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected. Hail is also expected in storm areas. The winds will blow mainly southwesterly to westerly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort but in the leeward, moderate, 4 Beaufort. Temporarily on the south coast but also in a storm, they will blow strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a little turbulent.

Tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy and mainly in the coastal areas, individual rains are expected. The winds will initially blow southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort to later become mainly westerly to northwesterly, of the same intensity. The sea will be a little turbulent to turbulent, on the west coast and up to a little turbulent, to the rest of the coast. The temperature will drop to around 8 degrees inland, around 9 on the south coast, around 10 on the rest of the coast and around 3 degrees in the higher mountains, where locally frost may form.

Tomorrow, the weather will be mostly cloudy, with local rains and isolated thunderstorms. Hail is also expected in storm areas. The winds will blow in the morning mainly westerly to northwesterly, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort to become southwesterly to northwesterly by noon, moderate and temporarily locally to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a little turbulent in the morning, on the south and east coasts and up to a little turbulent, on the west and north coasts to become generally turbulent in the afternoon. The temperature will rise to around 18 degrees inland and on the coast and around 8 degrees in the higher mountains.

At the weekend, the weather will be generally clear, however temporarily increased clouds that will be observed may give isolated rain, mainly in the mountains, in the early afternoon. On Holy Monday, the weather will generally be mostly clear.
