"Do not make complaints about customers dancing in front of their table"

The Pancyprian Association of Leisure Center Owners demands the removal of the "irrational and completely unjustified" measure, as it characterizes it, that gives the police the right to report businessmen because someone allegedly stood in front of his table or allegedly danced or shook his body. (ΠΑ.ΣΙ.Κ.Α).

"Unfortunately, this provision is exploited both by specific members of the police force and by citizens for purposes of envy. "With the same argument that we hear from time to time, that the police can not be located outside every premises, we respond in exactly the same way, that neither can we have a security guard over every table", it is mentioned in a relevant announcement.

It is added that the responsibility of "this huge" crime "for the citizen to stand in front of his table, should be borne by himself and not the businessman who for 15 months now is the easy target. Ο ΠΑ.ΣΙ. KA reminds that dancing is already allowed at the receptions, around or near the tables of the attendees.

At the same time, PA.S.I.K.A. calls for the extension of the operating hours of the leisure centers to the hours specified by the Legislator. He notes that there are scheduled two finals of European football competitions, starting tomorrow 26.05.21, which in a possible extension, will be exposed those who watch them in a bar, cafe, restaurant, etc., whether locals or foreign visitors.

Regarding the financial requirements of the Owners of Leisure Centers, the Association states that regardless of the industry, they should be negotiated as soon as possible to each beneficiary, in order to be able to cover part of the huge costs and debts that have been borne by everyone. and to be able to operate and those who are still closed.
