How the 36-year-old doctor allegedly cheated on the 73-year-old - She thought he had removed her uterus

A gynecologist is the 36-year-old doctor who was arrested yesterday in Limassol for defrauding a 73-year-old patient, who filed a complaint with the Police stating that he had operated on her, when in fact he did not do it.

According to the facts, the 73-year-old, after visiting the 36-year-old gynecologist at the doctor's office in Limassol, for health issues, the latter seems to have judged that the elderly woman needed surgery to remove the uterus.

A few months later, after the alleged surgery at a medical center, the 73-year-old had to be hospitalized in a private hospital for another health issue. There, according to the complaint, she had been informed by a gynecologist of the hospital that she needed the same surgery where she had previously suffered from the 36-year-old.

After an examination of the 73-year-old by a private doctor, it was found that she had not undergone the operation to remove the uterus.

The 36-year-old refuses

According to information, the 36-year-old gynecologist denies involvement in the case and makes various allegations which will be investigated. The doctor will appear before the Limassol District Court today.

The medical file and items were received

As part of the investigation of the case, her medical file was received where it appears that the 36-year-old filled in a discharge document based on legislation of the complainant as well as of the surgery which the 73-year-old allegedly underwent.

Evidence for further scientific examinations was received from the office of the 36-year-old.
