A message ahead of the new year was posted by the Isaac-Solomos Memorial Initiative regarding the ongoing challenges of Ankara and the pseudo-state on the one hand and the efforts to resolve the Cyprus issue on the other:
The message as it is:
"Another year passes with the agony of occupation and refugees. Cyprus is languishing in conditions of Turkification and history is tormented by the signs of the times.
2023 does not bode well unless we ourselves write down the messages of our consciousness. If we ourselves refuse to submit to the fate of a country that did not live free.
The "Isaac-Solomos Memorial Initiative" refuses. The motorcyclists refuse to throw away the sacrifices of Tasos, Solomos and all those who set their sights on Pentadaktylos, Famagusta, Kyrenia.
Governments change but the demands and goals of the necessary struggle remain unchanged: Liberation. Justice. Return.
