Inflation rose to 4,3% in November, with the largest increases recorded in electricity and petroleum products.

According to a press release of the Cyprus Statistical Service, the Consumer Price Index in November 2021 increased by 0,57 points and reached 105,36 points compared to 104,79 points in October 2021. Inflation in November 2021 increased by 4,3, XNUMX%.

For the period January-November 2021, the CPI increased by 2,2% compared to the corresponding period last year.

The biggest changes in the economic categories compared to November 2020 were recorded in Electricity with a percentage of 35,7% and in Petroleum with a percentage of 30,3%. Compared to the previous month, the biggest change was presented in Electricity with a percentage of 7,5%.

Compared to October 2021, the largest change was recorded in the category Housing, Water Supply, Electricity and LPG (2,9%).

For the period January-November 2021 compared to the corresponding period last year, the largest positive change was presented in the category Transport (8,1%), while the largest negative change was observed in the category Communications (-1,5%).
