The termination of the condition of a negative PCR test or rapid test for the passage of fully vaccinated people through the roadblocks, was announced by the Bicommunal Committee for Health, which met yesterday 2/3 in order to assess the epidemiological situation in relation to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the UN representative, the non-demonstration of a negative test concerns people who have completed 14 days after their double vaccination with the vaccines AstraZeneca, Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinovac, Sinopharm, Sputnik and Johnson & Johnson (1st dose).

It is noted that in cases of vaccination with AstraZeneca, Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech the validity of the vaccine is seven months after receiving the second dose, unless they have received the third boost.

Also, according to the announcement, the validity of the full vaccination certificates for the Sinovac, Sinopharm, Sputnik and Johnson & Johnson vaccines is three months after the completion of the vaccination regimen, unless they have received the third booster dose.

Also required is a negative PCR test or rapid test with a validity of 7 days for children between 5 and 11 years, unvaccinated high school students and students, as well as unvaccinated persons residing in Kato Pyrgos.

The need for a 72-hour negative PCR test or a 48-hour rapid test for unvaccinated persons 12 years of age and older and those who have not received the third booster dose after the end of their vaccination certificate also remains.
