No-bake protein peanut butter bars

Healthy, fast and very tasty protein bars with peanut butter and chocolate without sugar and butter.

Components

For the bars

  • 250 gr. soft peanut butter
  • 100 gr. honey
  • 1 tbsp. oat flour
  • 1 scoop (30 g) protein of your choice
  • 1 cinnamon sticks

For overlapping

  • 150 dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 100 gr. soft peanut butter

Execution method

  • Spread oil paste on a baking sheet and set aside.
  • Heat the honey in a saucepan. Remove from the heat and add the peanut butter and salt and stir.
  • Finally, add the oats and the protein and mix well until the mixture is homogeneous.
  • Place the mixture inside and spread well with your hand.
  • Cover the mixture with a film and put it in the fridge or freezer for at least 1 hour until it stabilizes.
  • Melt in a baking pan the ingredients for the coating and mix to homogenize.
  • Add the chocolate-peanut butter mixture on top of the bars and place in the fridge or freezer to tighten.
  • Cut into bars and enjoy!

Ingredients

For the bars

  • 250 g smooth peanut butter
  • 100 g of honey
  • 1 tbs oat flour
  • 1 scoop (30g) protein powder of your choice
  • 1 pinch if cinnamon

for the topping

  • 150 g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 100 g smooth peanut butter

Method

  • Line the bottom and sides of a baking dish with parchment paper, set aside.
  • In a large non-stick pot set over medium-low heat, add the honey.
  • Once melted remove from the heat, stir in the peanut butter and salt until smooth.
  • Add oats and protein powder into the pot, mix to combine well.
  • Then pour the mixture into the prepared pan and press with your hands to create a dense, even layer.
  • Place in the refrigerator or freezer to chill for 1 hour.
  • Melt the chocolate and the peanut butter over a bain-marie until smooth.
  • Pour the chocolate -peanut butter mixture over the bars and place in the refrigerator or freezer to chill before cutting and serving.
  • Cut into bars and enjoy!
